Causas patológicas de histerectomías, en el Hospital Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón, año 2017

Abstract

La histerectomía es una intervención quirúrgica irreversible en la cual se extirpa el útero, parte de él o el útero más algunos órganos adyacentes. Diversas causas pueden provocar su realización, como en el caso de cáncer de útero, endometriosis, prolapso del útero o un mioma uterino cualquier tipo de neoplasia ginecológica, conocer más a fondo esta cirugía y sus causas desencadenantes permitirá reducir el índice de morbilidad y mortalidad, así como evitar posibles secuelas en los pacientes Metodología: este es un estudio vertical, retrospectivo y observacional donde se estudia que causas patológicas conlleva la realización de una histerectomía. Se estudió un total de pacientes cuyos diagnósticos fueron tratados con dicha intervención quirúrgica en el hospital de especialidades Abel Gilbert Pontón durante el año 2017 Resultados: un correcto estudio de esta intervención quirúrgica y sus causas permitirá reducir el índice de morbilidad, mortalidad y las posibles secuelas y efectos adversos

Hysterectomy is an irreversible surgical procedure in which the uterus, part of it or the uterus plus some adjacent organs are removed. Several causes can cause its realization as in the case of uterine cancer, endometriosis, prolapse of the uterus or a uterine myoma, knowing more about this surgery and its triggering causes will allow reducing the morbidity and mortality rate, as well as avoiding possible sequelae in patients. Methodology: this a cross sectional, retrospective and observational study that studies the pathological causes of a hysterectomy. We studied a total of patients whose diagnoses were treated with this surgical intervention in the specialty Hospital Abel Gilbert Ponton during the year 2017 Results: a correct of this surgical intervention and its causes will allow reducing the morbidity index, mortality and the possible sequelae and adverse effects.
