Además se propone una guía de evaluación clínico-forense Traffic accidents are one of the most common causes of trauma in the maxillary and dentoalveolar region. At present, the number of traumatic dentomaxillary lesions has increased dramatically in the literature and includes a wide spectrum of variables, including oral, environmental and human behavior factors. Objective: To determine the dentomaxillary trauma in the expert dental report in the Sacha Canton during the period 2015 and 2016. Methodology: Study of quantitative, analytical and cross-sectional approach, included 141 patients who presented traffic accidents that received attention in the Center of Health type C Joya de los Sachas District 22D01. The SPSS program version 21 was used for the statistical analysis. Results: The vehicle and motorcycle accident, shock or rollover type were the most frequent. We found 68 patients with dentoalveolar lesions, 78% (53) corresponded to the upper arch and 22% (15) to the lower arch. The enamel fracture (41%) was the most frequent. The concussion (42%) and subluxation (33%) were the most common periodontal lesions. Conclusion: The non-use of a protective case increases the risk 10 times of dentomaxillary trauma (OR: 10,404 CI 95% 0,106-97,933). We found an association between the dentomaxillary trauma with the male sex, the age of <35 years, the accident is of vehicular type, the motorcycle accident and the intensity of the trauma (p <0.005). In addition, a clinical-forensic evaluation guide is proposed
