Insuficiencia renal asociada a diabetes tipo II del Hospital Abel Gilbert Pontón de enero 2014 a enero 2015.

Abstract

Esta investigación de tipo descriptivo que fue realizada sobre Insuficiencia Renal asociada a Diabetes Mellitus tipo II del Hospital de Especialidades Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón en el periodo enero 2014 a enero 2015. Las variables que se estudiaron fueron: pacientes con Diabetes Mellitus tipo II con Insuficiencia renal, pacientes con Insuficiencia Renal que son atendidos en el Hospital de Especialidades Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón, sexo, edad entre 40 a 60 años, tiempo de estancia y morbilidad. El universo de pacientes, cuyos datos fueron facilitados por el área de estadística se basó en: 250 con Diabetes Mellitus tipo II de los cuales tan solo 47 se relacionaba con enfermedad renal crónica que afectaba más a hombres y 416 pacientes con Insuficiencia renal siendo solo 200 relacionados con Diabetes Mellitus tipo II que afectaba más a mujeres. El total de datos de pacientes atendidos en el Hospital de Especialidades Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón y que utilice para este estudio fue de 247 pacientes Esta patología es referente a nivel mundial e inclusive en algunos países se considera como enfermedad de atención primaria de la salud, en vista que cada vez aumenta su incidencia, lo que provoca un mayor número de los días de estancia hospitalaria y ocupación de camas. Priorizando entonces sus consecuencias y secuelas. El Hospital de Especialidades Dr. Abel Gilbert Pontón no se aleja de la realidad de América y Latinoamérica demostrándolo así con el presente trabajo en el cual el factor importante es la incidencia y prevalencia y el pronóstico de la enfermedad.
