Desarrollar e implementar una aplicación web para automatización de procesos concernientes al desarrollo de proyectos de investigación de la Universidad de Guayaquil del área de Vicerrectorado de investigación, gestión del conocimiento y posgrado (FCI- UG)

Abstract

El presente proyecto de titulación se fundamenta en desarrollar una aplicación web para el control de gestiones administrativas dentro del Departamento de Vicerrectorado de Investigación, Gestión del Conocimiento y Posgrado de la Universidad de Guayaquil, logrando así ser más efectivos en la consecución de los objetivos institucionales, apoyándonos en metodologías ágiles y nuevas tecnologías que ayuden a garantizar el mejoramiento continuo y con ello el cumplimiento de sus objetivos organizacionales, incrementando la eficiencia operacional, buscando la eliminación de las actividades repetitivas y tareas no automatizadas. El presente diseño y desarrollo se enfocará en una aplicación web que realice procedimientos que garanticen llevar a cabo el registro y aprobación de proyectos de tipo Investigación y Vinculación en el cual un usuario podrá registrar, consultar, modificar, eliminar y hacer seguimiento de las gestiones que conlleva la aprobación de su proyecto, a su vez poder descargar la información ingresada en formato PDF y en conjunto generar documentos que se importan al registrar el mismo, teniendo un respaldo digital de los documentos entregados, estableciendo un sistema de gestión y control que garantice el correcto uso de los recursos. La aplicación tiene como propósito fundamental cumplir con cada competencia particular asignada por mando constitucional o legal, con la misión fijada y lograr la visión trazada. Favorecerá el cumplimiento de los principios de responsabilidad con las condiciones de calidad y cantidad requeridas; el diseño se basará en disponer de recursos necesarios para su realización.

The present degree project is based on developing a web application for the control of administrative procedures within the Department of Vice-Rectorate of Research, Knowledge Management and Postgraduate of the University of Guayaquil, thus achieving to be more effective in the achievement of institutional objectives, supporting us in agile methodologies and new technologies that help to guarantee the continuous improvement and the fulfillment of its organizational objectives, increasing operational efficiency, looking for the elimination of repetitive activities and non-automated tasks. The present design and development will focus on a web application that performs procedures that guarantee the registration and approval of projects of type Research and Linkage in which a user can register, consult, modify, eliminate and follow up on the procedures that it implies the approval of your project, in turn, you can download the information entered in PDF format and together generate documents that are imported when you register it, having a digital backup of the delivered documents, establishing a management and control system that guarantees the correct use of resources. The application’s fundamental purpose is to comply with each particular competence assigned by constitutional or legal command, with the mission set and achieve the vision outlined. It will favor to accomplish the principles of responsibility with the conditions of quality and quantity required; the design will be based on having the necessary resources for its realization.
