In the last 30 years mobile telephony has been one of the most important and
profitable global business, so it has been very dynamic for the speed and variety
with which technology is evolving. Initially customers were content with a voice
service that meets high availability, today the voice service is at a stable level of
maturation and even tends to decline, being rather data service which blunts of
exponentially by the great need for users to transmit information at high speeds.
Today when an operator implements an infrastructure for a given technology,
once the major manufacturers are already working at a rapid pace to modernize
and increase the capabilities offered and all this hand with a high-end smart
phones. Every mobile operator has in its infrastructure with mobile stations and
these in turn with the respective electronics and batteries that provide backup in
case of power outages.
Unfortunately in the city of Guayaquil there is a significant black market that
demands major components copper and lead ground systems and batteries of cell
stations, leading to constantly operators are victims of theft. These elements are
easily sold and there is no watchdog to regulate the illicit sale thereof.
This project aims to analyze the management of security processes in a base
station in a mobile phone company, with a solution that aims to control the
income of any personal and optimizing man-hours of engineers who deliver keys.
An analysis was conducted on the market to look for a product that allows for
automatic and remote control of revenue through intelligent locks.
Finally, as a final solution it was found that several bidders have security solutions
which analyzed the most efficient and meets the needs of the operator. When you
have installed one demo in a radio base station and no events have occurred.
