All dental treatment should meet the needs and desires of the patient so it
must be highly individualized not only for the patient but also in relation to
the disease being treated. the treatment plan is to identify and prioritize
strategies in terms of activities to be performed and the tasks that includes
each and eventually the technical steps. The prioritization is performed
taking into account the specific biological risk. The objectives of any
prosthodontic treatment can be established as: Elimination of the disease.
Preservation of health and relationships of the remaining teeth and
tissues. Selective replacement of missing parts and restore its role in
aesthetic form. Given these objectives should advise the patient on the
importance of the comprehensive restoration of his mouth for a health and
preserving remaining teeth and tissues. PPF is often the final step in a
sequence of treatments, but must precede so that the abutment teeth and
other areas are prepared for retaining and supporting the prosthesis. That
is, have diagnostic models for the project and final design, which will allow
us to comprehensively prepare this mouth for treatment success and
achievement of objectives
