Frecuencia de la hemorragia postparto y post cesárea en pacientes del Hospital Rafael Rodríguez Zambrano de la ciudad de Manta durante el período de septiembre del 2012 a febrero del 2013

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y observacional, en 30 casos de pacientes diagnosticadas con hemorragia postparto y post cesárea, los cuales fueron atendidas en Hospital General “Dr. Rafael Rodríguez Zambrano “, en la ciudad de Manta, durante el período de Septiembre 2012 a Febrero del 2013.
Los objetivos fueron determinar la frecuencia de la hemorragia postparto y post cesárea, identificar los factores de riesgo que predisponen a una hemorragia postparto y post cesárea, determinar la causa más frecuente y la vía del parto mayormente expuesta a sufrir una hemorragia postparto y post cesárea.
Las edades de las pacientes fluctuaron entre los 15 a 40 años, presentándose con mayor frecuencia en las pacientes de 15 a 20 años; que representan el 37% de los casos estudiados. El universo fue constituido por 1149 pacientes, de las cuales se sustrajo una muestra de 30 que reunían los criterios de inclusión de este estudio.
De acuerdo a la paridad el mayor porcentaje se concentró en las nulíparas con 60% de los casos, es importante señalar que la atonía uterina fue una de las causas que mayormente desencadenaron cuadros de hemorragia postparto y post cesárea que se presentó en el 43% de los casos. We performed a descriptive, observational study in 30 cases of patients diagnosed with postpartum hemorrhage and post cesarean , which were treated at General Hospital " Dr. Rafael Rodriguez Zambrano "in the city of Manta , during the period September 2012 to February 2013.
The objectives were to determine the frequency of post cesarean section postpartum hemorrhage and to identify risk factors that predispose a post postpartum hemorrhage and cesarean section , determine the most common route of delivery and mostly at risk of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean .
The ages of the patients ranged from 15 to 40 years , occurring more frequently in patients 15-20 years representing 37 % of the cases studied . The universe was made up of 1149 patients , of which he withdrew a sample of 30 that met the inclusion criteria for this study.
