Dimensiones del perfeccionismo y estrés académico en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal estudiar la relación entre las dimensiones del perfeccionismo y el estrés académico en un grupo de 298 estudiantes de una universitarios de entre 18 y 30 años de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana. Para esto, se utilizó el Inventario SISCO de estrés académico (Barraza, 2007c) y la Escala Multidimensional de Perfeccionismo (EMP; Rodríguez et al., 2009). Los resultados indican una relación directa y significativa entre las sub-escalas del estrés académico y dos dimensiones del perfeccionismo: auto-orientado y socialmente prescrito. A excepción de la sub-escala de estrategias de afrontamiento, la cual solo presentó una correlación significativa e indirecta con la dimensión del perfeccionismo socialmente prescrito. Además, se encontraron diferencias según el sexo y la facultad tanto para el estrés académico y las dimensiones del perfeccionismo
