| dc.description | The architecture project is the backbone in the training of an architect. From the beginning to the end of the undergraduate training, ten project workshops run continuously. In the curriculum of the School of Architecture and Urban Planning of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), the main theme of the Project Workshop III is housing. It is the first time that students face the problem of living, by working on the single-family housing, bi-family housing and multi-family housing; the singular housing, designed for a specific family, and the repeated housing, designed for a generic inhabitant. The project workshop is a theoretical and practical course, where the approach and development of projects are carried out through models and plans. In the training workshops, from the 1st to the 4th semester, the provision of tools to approach the constitutive elements of the architectural space is essential; therefore, doing something repeatedly from trial and error, is a fundamental practice of students of the first semesters. This article will be about the adaptation process of the analog tools (plans and models) towards the digitaltools for the 3D design and modeling due to the COVID-19 situation. | en-US |
| dc.description | El proyecto de arquitectura es la columna vertebral en la formación de un arquitecto. Diez talleres de proyectos transcurren ininterrumpidamente desde el inicio hasta el fin de la formación del pregrado. En la malla curricular de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo (FAU) de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), el Taller de Proyectos III tiene como tema principal la vivienda. Es la primera vez que los estudiantes se aproximan alproblema del habitar trabajando en torno a la vivienda unifamiliar, bifamiliar y multifamiliar; la vivienda singular, pensada para una familia específica, y la vivienda repetida, pensada para un habitante genérico. El taller de proyectos es un curso teórico-práctico, en el que la aproximación y el desarrollo de los proyectos se realizan a través de maquetas y planos. En los talleres formativos, del 1.er ciclo al 4.o ciclo, la dotación de herramientas es fundamental para aproximarse a los elementos constitutivos del espacio arquitectónico; por tanto, el hacer repetidas veces, a partir del ensayo y el error, es una práctica fundamental de los estudiantes de los primeros ciclos.
