Museos y estrategias de intervención para el estímulo del potencial creativo infantil

El presente artículo se centra en exponer parte de los resultados de investigaciones realizadas sobre el tema del desarrollo del potencial creativo en los niños en el contexto informal de aprendizaje relativo al museo como espacio de socialización y educación del patrimonio. El proceso de investigación tuvo un carácter transcultural para analizar la agenda educativa de nueve instituciones de museos localizados en Cuba, España, Italia y Portugal. Para el análisis de resultados se siguió una perspectiva teórica centrada en entender la creatividad como proceso o proyecto cultural de generación de ideas o espacios donde se resignifican y negocian los símbolos culturales, dando lugar a la emergencia de nuevos espacios de sentido. Todo ello se da en un complejo entramado de mediaciones Histórico-sociales, donde el sujeto interviene desde sus vivencias y experiencias como intérprete y gestor del proceso. Los resultados apuntan a la necesidad de trabajar sobre tres dominios fundamentales: el dominio cultural, el institucional y el de las prácticas, los cuales influyen directamente en la naturaleza de las prácticas que se desarrollan en los museos referidas al desarrollo de la creatividad infantil.
