Análisis del discurso de Twitter en los debates electorales de 2019 en España: un estudio algorítmico comparado

En este artículo se analiza y se compara el seguimiento de los usuarios de Twitter durante los dos debates electorales de las elecciones generales en España de abril y noviembre de 2019. A través de la recogida de los hashtags oficiales #ElDebateDecisivo (970.706 tuits) y #DebateElectoral (821.521), respectivamente, durante las 9 de la mañana del día del debate hasta las 2 de la madrugada del día siguiente, se analizaron, mediante algoritmos con software R, la polaridad y las emociones básicas de los discursos vertidos en la red social. Igualmente se realizó un estudio de teoría de redes para determinar la adscripción a cada grupo de cada cuenta. Los resultados muestran una polarización en la red, con grupos bien definidos y apenas relación con otros grupos de distinta ideología. Asimismo, se observa que la entrada en el segundo debate de un nuevo actor, Vox, altera por completo al resto de partidos de centro-derecha, que pasan a verlo desde una perspectiva mucho más negativa. Esta entrada no supone grandes cambios entre los partidos de izquierda, pero sí un aumento del miedo.
