La accidentalidad laboral y su prevención en prensa digital española

Introducción. La accidentalidad laboral y su prevención son aspectos que han entrado en el día a día de las empresas ante un grave problema humano, social y económico. Los medios de comunicación tradicionalmente han primado la fatalidad del accidente, principalmente mortal. El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar como los periódicos nativos digitales abordan el tema. Metodología. Para realizar el análisis se han tomado las inserciones periodísticas relativas a la accidentalidad laboral y su prevención durante dos años y siete meses en cinco de los principales diarios digitales. Posteriormente se han estudiado haciendo uso de la metodología de framing a través de técnicas estadísticas de minería de texto. Resultados y conclusiones. Se evidencia una reacción reactiva de los medios digitales ante la accidentalidad laboral, al igual que la prensa en papel, aunque se aprecian diferencias importantes en el tratamiento de la temática en función de la línea de cada diario.
