Resumen
The General Objective Of This Project is To Mount And Validate An In-situ (minera Esperanza) And On-line Rheometer Prototype Developed For Long Distances Slurry Transport Systems In the Mining Industry To Adapt Original Design (patented) To the Mining Facility Installations To Develop An Algorithm To Automate Control For Standalone Operation Of Prototype. To Validate the Models And Calibrate the Prototype In Order To Determine Final Accuracy Comparing the Results With Laboratory Measurements. Multicapillary Rheometer is the Name Given To the Device Designed And Patented By Jri Engineering (2012 Inapi) . The Functionality Of This Equipment is To Measure Rheological Parameters, the Viscosity And Yield Stress For Non-newtonian Fluids. The Design Of This Equipment is Based On the Existence Of An Analytical Solution Of the Flow Laminar In Circular Ducts Under Regime Laminar. Through a Mechanism Of Flow Control And Estimation Of Friction In Pipe It is Possible To Determine the Rheological Behavior Of the Fluid Through Reverse Engineering Achieving Determining Indicated Parameters. Today It is Only Possible To Determine the Parameters Rheological For Mining Pulps, the Viscosity And Yield Stress Using Two Techniques: Through Testing Rheology Laboratory Or Using a Predictor Based On the Concentration By Weight Of the Fluid.
