This article describes the technology of Intelligent Antennas and their performance in wireless networks. It also introduces their basic funcionality and the configuration types that exist. Additionally the ray conformation and classification according to their properties is shown.En este artículo se describe la tecnología de Antenas Inteligentes, su desempeño y beneficios en redes wireless. Para ello se muestra su funcionamiento básico, tipo de configuraciones y se define el concepto de antenas adaptativas.
