The purpose of this work is the general analysis of educational organizations, pointing at the background that allowed those educational organizations to get out of their context, the influence that modernity had on their development, the conflicts that were created with the emergence of post modernity, and, finally, analyze a subtle way of seeing the organization from the “complex thought” perspective.El objeto de este trabajo es el análisis general de las organizaciones educativas, señalando los antecedentes que permitieron que las organizaciones educativas se marginaran de su contexto, la influencia que tuvo la modernidad en el desarrollo de las mismas, los conflictos que se crearon con el surgimiento de la postmodernidad y, por último, adentrarnos en forma muy sutil para ver a la organización desde la perspectiva del pensamiento complejo.
