Resumen
This article discusses the notion of rhythm, proposed by Henri Meschonnic, as an anthropological interpretant - especially in Critique du rythme: uneanthropologiehistorique du langage, in which the language is conceived as a historical anthropology. It also aims to reflect on the notion in speech empiricism through the analyses of the poem Bangladesh 24042013, by Torso de Melo. In order to do that, the notions of syntactic accent and prosodic accent - as presented in Dessons and Meschonnic (2003) and Dessons (2011) for French - reconsidered for Portuguese - have been used.
