O trabalho do profissional de educação física em âmbito hospitalar e sua baixa valorização

Abstract

The physical education course comprises subjects that study the body, its anatomy, a deepening of the motor system, the biomechanics of body movements, which includes the study of human movement throughout life, motor development, physical and biological aspects, measurements evaluation of the body and the effects that the practice of exercise provide to the organism, in addition to countless other sports practices and theory on the history of physical education and the body. The area of activity of these professionals is very wide, being able to train in gyms and clubs, work with children and their development in the area of education, deal with the elderly and movement to improve their quality of life, swimming lessons, sports, fights and Physical education professionals can also be included in multidisciplinary teams that work within hospitals with the aim of patient recovery. This project seeks to understand the performance of physical education professionals in the hospital environment, dealing with the services that can be provided by professionals, their benefits and how they can be continued in order to promote the patient's health even after leaving the hospital, with this, we will analyze three academic works that involve the area and, based on them, we will raise the question of why it is still an area very little worked on by physical education professionals and what would be the reasons for this to occur.

O curso de educação física compreende de matérias que estudam o corpo, sua anatomia, um aprofundamento do aparelho motor, a biomecânica dos movimentos corporais, que compreende o estudo do movimento humano ao longo da vida, o desenvolvimento motor, aspectos físicos e biológicos, medidas de avaliação do corpo e os efeitos que a prática do exercício proporciona ao organismo, além de inúmeras outras práticas de esportes e teoria sobre a história da educação física e do corpo. A área de atuação desses profissionais é muito ampla, podendo realizar treinos em academia e clubes, trabalhar com crianças e seu desenvolvimento na área da educação, lidar com idosos e movimento para sua melhora da qualidade de vida, aulas de natação, esportes, lutas e também o profissional de educação física pode estar incluído em equipes multiprofissionais que atuam dentro de hospitais com o intuito da recuperação dos pacientes. Esse projeto busca compreender a atuação do profissional de educação física em âmbito hospitalar tratando sobre os serviços que podem ser prestados por profissionais, seus benefícios e como podem ser continuados a fim de promover a saúde do paciente mesmo após a saída do hospital, com isso, analisaremos três trabalhos acadêmicos que envolvem a área e a partir dos mesmos levantaremos a questão do porquê ainda ser uma área muito pouco trabalhada pelos profissionais da educação física e quais seriam os motivos para que isso ocorra.
