dc.description.abstractThe paleontological, isotopic and geochronological data summarized below support the paleogeographic and temporal correlation between Itapucumi (Paraguay) and Corumbá (Brazil) groups, suggesting a coeval sedimentary evolution of these units in the margins of the Amazon Craton and the Rio Apa Block.
