Um estudo de teses e dissertações sobre a educação sexual da pessoa com surdez

Abstract

Este estudo pretende instigar a reflexão acerca do uso da Língua Brasileira de Sinais, LIBRAS, e quais orientações, no contexto da sexualidade, o surdo recebe. Tem como objetivo realizar um levantamento bibliográfico de teses e dissertações na área da educação no período de 2002 a 2019, com vistas a analisar como está e se está sendo realizada a educação sexual da pessoa com surdez. Desta forma, trata-se de um estudo de natureza qualitativa, de caráter bibliográfico e descritivo. A coleta dos dados foi realizada em duas Bases de Dados para consulta, sendo elas, o Banco de Teses e Dissertações da Capes e a Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações – BDTD (IBICT). Conclui-se, que de acordo com a revisão de literatura, há necessidade de realização de mais estudos, pois foi verificada a baixa ocorrência de artigos, dissertações e teses que tratam sobre o tema, evidenciando, como resultado, a importância de se ensinar sobre a sexualidade a surdos, no intuito de fortalecer a identidade dessas pessoas e incluí-las na sociedade em que convivem.

This study intends to instigate a reflection on the use of the Brazilian Sign Language, LIBRAS, and what the guidelines are, without sexuality context or with the received reception. It aims to carry out a bibliographic survey of theses and dissertations in the area of education in the period from 2002 to 2019, with a view to analyzing how a sexual education of a person with deafness is being carried out. Thus, it is a qualitative study, bibliographic and descriptive. Data collection was carried out in two databases for consultation, namely, the Bank of Theses and Dissertations for Covers and a Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations - BDTD (IBICT). It is understood that a person with deafness, in its constitution process, is marked by facing prejudices, stigmas and stereotypes. Concluded, that according to a literature review, there is a need for further studies, there was a low occurrence of articles, dissertations and theses dealing with the topic, showing, as a result, an importance of the use on sexuality in deaf people, without the intention of strengthening the identity of these people and including the society in which they live.
