Resumen
This article sought to analyze the processes that affect Colombian workers, especially dockworkers, within neoliberalism, in relation to the port modernization process. Because the modernization, it sought to insert new forms of management and control over the ports and for the labor. As a result, the workers had a set of strategies of precariousness of the labor, such as: antiunion policies, low wages, outsourcing, informality. In this sense, we present some of the realities experienced by dockworkers in Buenaventura, Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta.
