In this tima of globalization of all nature abounds the information, exist oceanic amounts of documents in the cyberspace, constituing itself in a boomerang for the adquisition of knowledge of the students, because it is true that there are more and better options in the information, it also generates greater probabilities of intellectual laziness. That is why it is necessary to insist to the university population the importance of elaborating works that contemplate the world conception of each one, considering its epistemologic approach and the method to be used in the process of reaching a new knowledge, of such form that the apparent coincidences in defferent structures do not deceive us. Similarly it is required to consider that the accomplishment of the works cannot be reduced to a motley handful of techniques, but that it is fundamentally a mental and intellectual attitude, where operatiens like describing, explaining, representing, identifying, relating, generalizing and operating, have as much importance as the use od the mathematics. En esta época de mundialización de toda índole abunda la información, existen cantidades oceánicas de documentos en el ciberespacio, los cuales se constituyen en un boomerang para la adquisición del conocimiento de los estudiantes, por cuanto si bien es cierto que hay más y mejores opciones en la información, también se generan mayores probabilidades de pereza intelectual. Por ello es necesario insistirle a la pobleción universitaria la inportancia de elaborar trabajos que contemplen la concepción de mundo de cada uno, considerando su enfoque epistemológico y el método por emplear en el proceso de alcanzar un nuevo conocimiento, de tal forma que las coincidencias aparentes sobre estructuras diferentes no nos engañen. De igual forma, se requiere tener presente que la realización de los trabajos no se puede reducir a un abigarrado manojo de técnicas, sino que es fundamentalmente una actividad mental e intelectual, donde operaciones como describir, explicar, representar, identificar, relacionar, generalizar y operar, tienen anta importancia como el uso de las matemáticas.
