The present investigation shows the result of a study carried out in the rural community "Quintín Banderas" of Corralillo municipality term in Villa Clara. The main objective was to use the Volleyball of Beach as recreational option for young of 16 - 18 years, residing in this village. To do it, diagnosis actions, elaboration of sport-recreational activities related with the Beach Volleyball as youths’ recreational option were traced and to value, if the result of the use of this sport improves the incorporation these young people to the sport-recreational organized activities for the population's enjoyment. The use of Beach Volleyball is materialized as recreational, within the physical healthy recreation, propitiating a better use of the free time in the youths of the rural, lacking and avid communities, of activity with these characteristics.La presente investigación muestra el resultado de un estudio desarrollado en la comunidad rural “Quintín Banderas” del municipio Corralillo en la provincia Villa Clara. Su objetivo fue utilizar el Voleibol de Playa como opción recreativa en jóvenes de 16 - 18 años residentes en este poblado. Se trazaron acciones de diagnóstico, elaboración de actividades deportivo-recreativas relacionadas con el Voleibol de Playa como opción recreativa de estos jóvenes y se valoró, si el resultado de la utilización de este deporte mejora su participación protagónica en las actividades deportivo-recreativas organizadas para el disfrute de la población. Se materializa la utilización del Voleibol de Playa de forma recreativa, en el marco de la Recreación Física, propiciando un mejor uso del tiempo libre de los jóvenes de las comunidades rurales, carentes, y ávidas de actividades con estas características.
