dc.descriptionThis research article is part of a doctoral thesis developed at the Tourism Training Center of Villa Clara, which assumes as a research problem the professional improvement in French language of the teachers who work there. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the professional improvement in French language of the teachers of the specialties that demand its use in the teaching-learning process. The general method used is the materialist dialectic, in addition to other theoretical methods such as document analysis and the historical-logical method. From the empirical level, the contrast and triangulation allowed contrasting the different theories and considerations assumed and determining the main theoretical cores that solidify this study. In addition, the main findings that emanate from it corroborate that professional development in French for specific purposes contributes to the better performance of the teaching staff in this type of center and to the improvement of the teaching-learning process of the specialties of professional cooking and gastronomic service in order to provide higher quality services in the tourism sector.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo presenta la investigación desarrollada en el Centro de Capacitación del Turismo de Villa Clara que asume como problemática de la investigación la superación profesional en idioma francés de los docentes que allí laboran. El mismo tiene como objetivo valorar la superación profesional en idioma francés de los docentes de las especialidades que demandan su uso en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. La investigación constó de dos etapas comprendidas del año 2017 al 2021, donde se desarrollaron diferentes formas organizativas de la superación profesional según las necesidades de los sujetos implicados; en la primera se realizaron asesorías, consultas, conferencias especializadas, talleres de reflexión y en la segunda etapa se diseñó e impartió un curso de francés para fines profesionales. Los principales hallazgos del estudio emanan al corroborar que la superación profesional en idioma francés para fines específicos contribuye al mejor desempeño del claustro en este tipo de centro y al perfeccionamiento del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las especialidades de cocina profesional y servicio gastronómico con el fin de brindar servicios de mayor calidad en el sector turístico.es-ES
