| dc.description | Online teaching has become an imperative need due to the social conditions derived from the current health contingency. This has led language teachers to search for effective models and methodologies to continue the learning process under such conditions. The objective of this article is to provide a theoretical approach to the flipped classroom model which, thanks to its characteristics, makes it possible for online English teaching to be more active and student-centered. It also presents information that allows the analysis of its use in the classroom as a strategy to meet current educational needs and as a reference for future applications in the area. | en-US |
| dc.description | La enseñanza en línea se ha convertido en una necesidad imperante debido a las condiciones sociales derivadas de la contingencia sanitaria actual. Esto ha llevado a los docentes de lenguas a buscar modelos y metodologías eficaces para continuar con el proceso de aprendizaje ante tales condiciones. El objetivo de este artículo es brindar un acercamiento teórico al modelo de flipped classroom o aula invertida que, gracias a sus características, posibilita que la enseñanza de inglés en línea sea más activa y centrada en los estudiantes. Se presenta además información que permite el análisis de su uso en el aula como una estrategia para satisfacer las necesidades educativas actuales y como referencia para futuras aplicaciones en el área. | es-ES |
