dc.descriptionActualmente en nuestro país urge la necesidad de profundizar metodológicamente sobre cómo debe realizarse una investigación en el campo de las Ciencias Sociales y dentro de ellas las relacionadas con la Historia de la Educación (ya sean procesos, instituciones, hechos, figuras, etc.), pues se ha constatado que las investigaciones se realizaban con metodologías generales para los estudios históricos y no se tiene en cuenta que los resultados son necesarios emplearlos en el campo pedagógico educativo; además solo se abordaban descripciones, biografías, anécdotas referidas a lo fenomenológico. En el siguiente trabajo se orienta la forma de proceder metodológicamente para realizar un trabajo científico en el campo histórico educativo, se exponen algunas consideraciones relacionadas con la metodología cienciológica para estudios de figuras representativas del pensamiento educativo cubano, se explica cuál es la esencia de su cienciología y se ofrecen fundamentos necesarios para su aplicación.es-ES
