The article is about the importance of the psychological and pedagogical diagnostic to get close to a deep and integral knowledge of the personality of the students and it’s interrelation with environmental education, it can be facilitate to the teacher from its classroom, knowing the children better, preventing deviations in their personalities, increasing the power of their learning and creating a responsible conduct regarding their surroundings.El artículo aborda la importancia del diagnóstico psicopedagógico para aproximarse al conocimiento profundo e integral de la personalidad de los alumnos y su interrelación con la educación ambiental, la cual facilita al docente desde su clase, conocer mejor a los niños, prevenir desviaciones en su personalidad, potenciar su aprendizaje y propiciar una conducta responsable con respecto a su entorno.
