The present study is preliminary, with the data collection totally carried out on the internet. With Therefore, the results may differ slightly in quantitative terms, since to the great dynamics of information and services offered on the Web. for deeper studies, as it presents initial information on the use of SEER / OJS as portals in Brazilian institutions. For the past 10 years, SEER has been widely used by the Brazilian scientific community for the creation of journals electronics. In the initial years of its dissemination, most of the journals implemented as SEER was not hosted on portals, but in its own unique facilities. In these ten years the growth in use of the tool was significant, mainly with the use in the portal modality, a tendency for institutions to concentrate their journals in one place.O presente estudo é preliminar, com a coleta de dados totalmente efetuada na internet. Com isso, os resultados podem apresentar pequenas divergências em termos quantitativos, visto à grande dinamicidade das informações e serviços ofertados na Web. Assim, torna-se base para estudos mais profundos, pois apresenta informações iniciais do uso do SEER/OJS como portais nas instituições brasileiras. Nos últimos 10 anos, o SEER vem sendo amplamente usado pela comunidade científica brasileira para a criação de periódicos eletrônicos. Nos anos iniciais de sua disseminação, grande parte das revistas implantadas como o SEER não era hospedada em portais, mas em instalações próprias e únicas. Nesses dez anos o crescimento em uso da ferramenta foi significativo, principalmente com a utilização na modalidade de portal, uma tendência para as instituições concentrarem seus periódicos em um único local.
