Nivel de conocimiento sobre el perfil del m?dico familiar en los residentes del Hospital Dr. F?lix Mar?a Goico en el periodo marzo-abril 2022

Abstract

[Espa?ol] INTRODUCCI?N: La pr?ctica cl?nica del m?dico especialista en medicina familiar se caracteriza por tres elementos: la integraci?n de aspectos biol?gicos, psicol?gicos y sociales que participan en el proceso salud-enfermedad, la anticipaci?n al da?o con un enfoque preventivo y la continuidad de la atenci?n. OBJETIVOS: Identificar el nivel de conocimiento sobre el perfil del m?dico familiar en los residentes del Hospital Dr. F?lix Mar?a G?ico. MATERIALES Y M?TODOS: Esta investigaci?n es de car?cter prospectivo, descriptivo y de corte transversal, teniendo como objetivo el nivel de conocimiento sobre el perfil del m?dico familiar en los residentes del Hospital Dr. F?lix Mar?a G?ico. Se aplic? una encuesta dirigida a una muestra de 69 residentes del Hospital. RESULTADOS: El 54 por ciento de los residentes presenta un nivel de conocimiento inadecuado sobre el perfil del medico familiar y el 31 por ciento de los residentes presenta un nivel de conocimiento adecuado. CONCLUSI?N: Mediante esta investigaci?n se pudo determinar que el nivel de conocimiento sobre el perfil del m?dico familiar entre los residente del hospital Dr. F?lix Mar?a Goico es inadecuado.

[English] INTRODUCTION: The clinical practice of the specialist in family medicine is characterized by three elements: the integration of biological, psychological and social aspects that participate in the healthdisease process, the anticipation of damage with a preventive approach and the continuity of care. OBJECTIVES: To identify the level of knowledge about the profile of the family doctor in the residents of the Hospital Dr. F?lix Mar?a G?ico. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This research is prospective, descriptive and cross-sectional, aiming at the level of knowledge about the profile of the family doctor in the residents of the Hospital Dr. F?lix Mar?a G?ico. A survey was applied to a sample of 69 residents of the Hospital. RESULTS: 54 percent of residents have an inadequate level of knowledge about the profile of the family doctor and 31 percent of residents have an adequate level of knowledge. CONCLUSION: Through this research it was possible to determine that the level of knowledge about the profile of the family doctor among the residents of the Dr. F?lix Mar?a Goico hospital is inadequate.
