Resumen
El presente estudio es el primer reporte de G. diazotrophicus en Colombia, la cual es una bacteria promotora de crecimiento vegetal de gran importancia y potencial a nivel agrícola. Los aislamientos obtenidos tienen un gran potencial para el subsecuente desarrollo de un inoculante innovador para cultivos de interés comercial. Se obtuvieron dos aislamientos naIvos de G. diazotrophicus asociados a raíces y tallo de caña de azúcar con capacidad de fijar nitrógeno, producir compuestos indólicos y solubilizar fosfatos in vitro.
