It asks about the role of journalism in the face of technological changes and, especially, in relation to the advent of virtuality, the information invasion and the notion of real time, as well as the indistinction between journalism and entertainment in current formats, which it could also make changes in the interests and perceptual forms of the audiences. This is an essay that raises more concerns than answers and that may be the starting point of more in-depth exploration of the relationship between journalism, technical intervention and the temporal dimension.El texto presenta una serie de relaciones entre tecnicidad, tiempo y trabajo periodístico para interrogar sobre el alcance de la actividad periodística en la contemporaneidad, sus posibles transformaciones y desplazamientos. Se pregunta sobre el papel del periodismo frente a los cambios tecnológicos y, especialmente, en relación con el advenimiento de la virtualidad, de la invasión informacional y la noción de tiempo real, así como la indistinción entre periodismo y entretenimiento en formatos actuales, lo cual podría marcar cambios también en los intereses y formas perceptuales de las audiencias. Se trata de un ensayo que plantea más inquietudes que respuestas y que puede ser el punto inicial de exploraciones más profundas sobre la relación periodismo, intervención técnica y la dimensión temporal.
