Resumen
The cost-benefit ratio between the demolition and the reconstruction of a concrete structure runs on a thin line, where normative and mainly practical constructive processes influence the final decisions of designers and executors. The purpose of this research is to identify and establish some of the necessary factors for the use of epoxy resin as a bridge between steel and concrete in the reconstruction or repair of reinforced concrete structures. For this, the use of the Pull-Out traction test allows to establish a correlation between anchorage lengths and their tensile strengths, as well as their rupture modes. Alongside this, visual observation of the components of the bond after the breakout also allows accurate results. The design of the anchoring lengths using epoxy resin as a bonding bridge is complex in its composition, since even though many of its variables are still fixed for the tests, the results still show considerable variations in their values. However, the use of the resin in the anchorage presents technical feasibility of sizing and execution, mainly due to its workability.
