Resumen
Is in the XVIII century that arises what Foucault will call "disciplinary society". In this, the disciplinary authority is widespread and is present in several institutions - the factory, the workshop, prison, school, etc.. At the factory, for example, the work not only fulfills the productive or psychological function. The work also aims at the production of economically useful and politically obedient subjects. It is from this analysis - the disciplinary function of work - that in this reflection, is to analyze the "nature" of the work in Foucault's theory, comprising the same as constituting subjectivities and the worker's own body, thus rejecting the notion working as a return to the human, typical nature of the Marxist tradition.
