O saneamento em comunidades isoladas no município de Itapetininga (SP)

Abstract

This work brings to discussion the difficulties encountered in implementing sanitation systems within small isolated communities in Itapetininga (SP) , these systems effective and easy operation and maintenance , linked to the need for low cost , making it sustainable and viable in their deployment . Still makes a statement of how we must move in this construction of public policies in Brazil. The growth of isolated communities , as well as their demands makes public managers start to have a more open look to the needs , and the issue of sanitation , as well as the apparent demand for water supply, proved essential to the development of community and attention to their residents . Sabesp , as a provider of such a service within the region of Itapetininga ( SP ) through the provision of services by the municipal government , is responsible for such actions , so allowing the insertion of these communities within their investments and providing such service delivery .
