Resumen
The various labor camps present conditions risk to health and safetyof its workers. The same occurs in some environments within educational institutions, such as research laboratories. Brazilian law defines parameters and provides methods that must be met by employers, while ensuring the health and safety at work. Among these methods, there is the risk of accidents mapping within environments. Environmental Risk Maps provide information about the category, probability of occurrence and severity of accident risks that the worker is subject to perform a certain activity, and information about protective equipment and preventive measures. It was found that the chemistry laboratories of UTFPR Campus Ponta Grossa not have Risk Maps, making professionals and academics who work in them more vulnerable to accidents. Based on this, this paper aimed at analyze the conditions in relation to safety at work in laboratories, to identify the risk of accidents and the availability of protective equipment, in addition to proposing a Risk Map model to the laboratories under study. To achieve the objectives, professionals were questioned in relation to these situations, and found the working conditions in each laboratory, according to current legislation. As a result of these analyzes, it elaborated Risk Maps for six laboratories linked to Academic Department of Chemical Engineering UTFPR Campus Ponta Grossa on the layout of each laboratory. In the long termin addition to avoiding accidentsit will be possible attract the interest of professionals and academics regarding the search for security, as well as academic research in this area of knowledge.
