dc.description.abstractWith the increase of consumerism, the society started to worry about environmental issues. This has led to the concept of sustainability and sustainable consumption, which are based on the concern to preserve existing natural resources, ensuring that the future generations are not affected. Based on these aspects, the present study sought to identify the sustainable consumer profile in three different environments (University, Food Industry and Preservation Area), using a quis as a method of evaluation. Data collection was done randomly and spontaneously on digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, E-mail). The quis was divided into four parts (socioeconomic profile, interviewee consumption profile, interviewee’s degree of knowledge about sustainable products and level of concern of the interviewee with the environment). An awareness material was developed with concepts and information on sustainable consumption and sustainable products, made available on digital platforms in study environments. Most of the interviewees know about the term sustainability and sustainable products, but the minority want to identify if the product is sustainable and if it has some certification seal. In addition, the minority is willing to pay more for a sustainable product. The Preservation area was the environment that was most concerned with environmental issues, most of the time having more sustainable habits and actions in daily life.
