Abstract

The study sought to bring to reflection and debate, the different organizational variables, technical, behavioral and those relating to the process to decide so equip us to overcome possible visions on the influence of personality. For both search applied the approach which seeks to explore theory content aimed at analyzing its extension, complexity and feasibility for implementation in procedures and tools aimed at intervention. Demonstrated the human factor at industrial maintenance management has an ethical bias, characterization and functioning as complex and intangible, that makes this factor would not be part of a decision support system as factor mathematically translatable. It defends the theme and the problem being studied now require the description of theoretical concepts to better explain the personality, the Organization, the strategic planning, production management and maintenance. The study also points the discussion showed that the making decision process is complex and deals with intangible aspects, difficult to be represented on a system where the attempt to measure everything that is measurable, bending the perception rather than grabs the complexity of human functioning.
