Resumen
In the last decades has given great emphasis to environmental issues, due to increased social problems that environmental degradation has caused. The search and recovery for ideas and initiatives that can harmonize urban development and environmental conservation are ideas that have become constant and need to be searched, and put into action, worked through environmental education at all levels and types of education. For this purpose the present study was conducted in a school of municipal schools in the city of Medianeira- PR, with the purpose of making an approach to environmental education, with a group of students of the same age group corresponding to 4 ° year.The main objective was to raise the environmental awareness of these in relation to the environment in which they live, and it made for fun and educational activities with environmental themes. With the results of operations reported that this group has demonstrated a good learning environment perception about the themes, especially the collection and recycling. This denotes that the school is somehow committed to formal environmental education, as recommended by the National Environmental Education. With the development of this work, it was observed that the methodology used in the educational approach was appropriate, since the student group is already looking into a previously sensitized on environmental issues.
