Industrial pollution is very disturbing. They industries are producing more and more waste pollutants, they damage human health, animal fauna and flora. The electroplating industries generate hazardous pollutants containing metals, which are discarded in nature without predicting treatment will cause damage. This study aimed to verify a chrome removed, turbidity of suspended and dissolved solids, using the gel of aloe (Aloe arborescens) as a biopolymer. First, the gel was caracterized by thermogravimetric analysis and infrared spectroscopy also showed a quantity of ash and moisture present therein. The effluent was featured in a series of solids, DQO, DBO5, turbidity, pH and atomic absorption. Through absorption there was a high amount of chromium, with levels above those set out in Resolution N° 430 of 13 May 2011. After completion of the DCCR to determine the trials and tests have not been tested, and the Aloe concentration and pH of the aluminum sulfate, as independent variables, and dependent variables for chrome removed, turbidity, dissolved and suspended solids. (98.2%), sedimented solid (89,80-98,98%) and dissolved (71,06 - 92,87%).
