Resumen
Pediculosis is a parasitic disease, common in childhood, caused by "head lice". Head lice infestation is endemic in both developed and developing countries. However, although it is a public health problem, pediculosis is still neglected, lacks information about its transmission, and is shrouded in false information that make it difficult to know about the most diverse aspects of the disease. Head lice mainly infest school-age children, the most common age group being between five and 11 years old. Thus, theobjective of this work was to develop a didactic booklet for elementary and middle school students and teachers about pediculosis. Based on a bibliographical research, the themes that would be addressed were defined. The material was developed in the Canva program, has 28 pages and is divided into two parts, one for teachers and the other for students. The booklet, to be made available digitally, is a means of disseminating information about the disease and can contribute to health education in schools in order to encourage prevention and also motivate everyone involved to be multipliers of the information received about the disease.
