Resumen
This research has as general objective to identify in the elaborated and accomplished pedagogic practices by the industry, actions that let the working youth’s to integral development. In front of the form of approach of the problem investigated in this work, we opted to accomplish a research of qualitative nature, where we intended to verify the case of the professional education offered by the industry through schools maintained in the same space of the production. They were investigated two schools of professional education that develop their activities in the atmosphere of the industrial production of two companies of the industrial metal-mechanic section located in the area of Curitiba. The education offered at these schools is for professional training of young apprentice, that they will begin still in the job market, the researched professional education is located, therefore, in the medium level of education. They were made collections of data, being used the guided interview technique with the responsible by the schools about the students’ profile, the offered education structure, the promotion mechanisms and the objectives when offering such formation. In the bibliographical revision the foundations of the relationships were rescued between education and work, as well as an short historical rescue of the practices of professional education in the industrial way and of the legislations that aid them. It was also looked for to identify the theoretical and ideological reasons in the variation of the adopted denominations and to draw some definitions that involve the subject of the professionalisation: professional formation, professional education and professional qualification that, same being related in só many moments, they keep specificities for the nature, objectives and place in the social and productive processes. In the project of revealing the ideologies a space was reserved also to bring a little more depth on the subjects of the competences and the qualification, because, they are terms that carry meanings that cross the definitions of common sense and they also reveal ideologies strongly ingrained in the processes of professional education. Completing, they were listed some of the several service initiatives to the worker, for different social sections in what concerns to his preparation for the world of the work.
