dc.description.abstract | The global population growth requires a greater productivity in food production. For this, one of the most important techniques was the development of more effective pesticides, which caused the need for more precise application that could be used in large areas That need boosted the development of agricultural aircraft that now serves about 25 % of the planted area in the country. The design of an unmanned aircraft is a pioneer in agricultural world and can fill gaps in the agricultural market as nocturnal administration; application in small and medium farms; application in rough terrain, and to complement terrestrial spraying. The presented project follows the methodology of aeronautical projects by Sadraey (2012) and consists of three main stages: conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design. The proposed aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 200kg and application speed of 144km/h managing to equate conventional agricultural aircraft. The estimated production cost is US$ 35000,00. | |
