Análise de confiabilidade na manutenção de forno elétrico

Abstract

This paper examines the performance of the induction furnace of a foundry, after the implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance (MCC) in 2010. The electric furnace is used to manufacture spare parts that are used in the the plant's. The period analyse ocorred from 2010 to 2019 and investigate wether actually occurred or the growth of system requirements. Data related to failures were detected in the company's maintenance system and were statistically analyzed and stored. The Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) was analyzed at regular intervals with Reliasoft's RGA software. Effective reliability growth was observed only three years after the implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
