Brasil em cores: projeto gráfico de um livro ilustrado sobre o Brasil

Abstract

Representations about several countries are easily found in the graphic design segments, mainly through drawings and artistic manifestations. This coursework has the objective of producing illustrations about each of the Brazilian states, taking into account their particularities and cultural elements, in order to develop an editorial project on that theme, in book format. The process will be followed by an analytical study of other illustrations that already exist, their characteristics as well commonly linked to Brazil and brazilian elements, in order to understand in a better way the meaning of these representations. For that, concepts of cultural identity and brazilian customs will be revised. In addition, for the context of this design project, revisions on graphic design and some strategies and principles, creative processes, editorial design and the process of choices and development.
