Avaliação da viabilidade técnica de uma microcentral hidrelétrica

Abstract

The work described here presents a study, which aims to evaluate the technical feasibility for implementing a hydroelectric micro central, based on a case study site. A theoretical study that covers the elements related to the technical implementation of hydroelectric microcenters was carried out, so that was possible to make as association between theory and practice. In order to determine if there is in fact feasibility of implementation of the case study site, measurements of topographic height, water velocity and maximum flow of the site in question were carried out. Based on these values, and the geography of the place, was described briefly the elements that would best fit in this case, such as turbine, generator, speed regulator, voltage regulator, type of dam, water outlet, piping, among others.
