Resumen
The purpose of this research is to use the smartphone in the education of young people and adults, as it offers several functionalities and is constantly present in the daily lives of individuals, changing their personal, social and working world relationships. Its objectives are: to analyze the use of the Smartphone as an educational resource; identify in what ways it can favor the learning of EJA students; and to propose a didactic sequence with the applicability of the Smartphone, a technology commonly used by these students, as a resource that facilitates learning in Youth and Adult Education. The justification for this research is given by the ease of access of these students to the Smartphone in their daily lives, which is a resource that can favor their learning process. In this context, the guiding question of the research is: what are the contributions that the use of the smartphone can promote in the pedagogical practice for the students’ learning in the education of youth and adults? The methodology used was that of bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, whose sources of research were from different authors and in studies carried out and presented in articles, dissertations, theses, as well as publications in periodical journals and digital books, focusing the context of EJA in the period from 2010 to 2019, the use and applicability of the Smartphone as a digital technology and educational resource between the years 2015 to 2019. It was concluded that the use of the Smartphone with EJA students favors learning, as long as it is integrated into teaching practice, because it allows a path of research, creativity and collaboration in the construction of knowledge.
