Proposta de implementação do gráfico de controle em uma empresa de pequeno porte no Paraná

Abstract

Due to a commercial reality delineated by the competitiveness, it is necessary a differential that empowers the company for its permanence and prominence in the market. The present study aims to propose the application of Control Chart of the Statistical Process Control (CEP) tool in a small scale printing company in the state of Paraná, whose quality area does not use statistical control in its processes. In this company, the stage of the production process was analyzed with the greatest criticality and the need for quality evaluation. For this, the chosen stage was 'Printing', due to its high complexity of operation and vulnerability to defects. In the sequence, the type of graph appropriate to the variables in question was chosen, the samples were collected, the control plot was constructed and the results were analyzed. These have demonstrated that the stage of 'Printing' studied, is out of control statistic, generating waste of raw material and consequently costs unwanted by the company, besides generating greater risks of a defective product reaching the customer's hands. With this, the proposal of implementation of the Control Chart in the company under study becomes assertive, once with the tool applied, the company becomes able to visualize its quality gaps, investigate them and outline actions to solve them effectively.
