Resumen
The Information and Communication Technologies has enabled us to use different didactic resources that can aid in the teaching and learning process, promoting to the student a more dynamic and contextualized knowledge. In this context, this work seeks to elaborate tasks for the Differential and Integral Calculus classes, implemented with Geogebra, addressing the concepts of functions and rates of variation, starting from
problems arising from Physics, more specifically from kinematics. Three tasks were elaborated with different approaches about study of the movement, applied in the class of freshmen of the Course of Materials Engineering of the Federal Technology University - Paraná - Campus Londrina. Being the tasks carried out in groups. For the analysis of students' resolutions, the written productions and audio recordings of the group discussions were used. With this material, it was possible to identify that the students, mostly, remained connected to the use of pencil and paper, using in a superficial way the tools of the software that could facilitate the understanding of the task and the concepts approached.
