Resumen
Nowadays the number of animals caused by pedestrian accidents in BR is huge, however, some actions are used in conservation units to minimize this, such as underpasses and speed reducers. The present study aimed to show how areas of greater occurrence of wild animals run over on BR Rodovia 487 bordering the Perobas Biological Reserve. The hit and run data were provided by the Conservation Unit, Biological Reserve of Perobas, running the stretch of the highway weekly to locate and identify new hits from 2015 to 2018. for Erethizontidae (Bonaparte, 1845) known as porcupine, the most hit species that was hit identified. Along the highway, a stretch of study, three points stood out through the heat map, areas of greater pedestrian accidents. These points are located parallel to other forest remnants on the opposite side of the Reserve. The Perobas Biological Reserve uses as a mitigation measure, educational signposts, with the objective of slowing down the speed of automobiles, fauna passages protected by fences and reflective batteries. There is evidence that these techniques seem to be responsible for the reduction of pedestrian accidents in 2017, however, it is necessary to expand the studies through the passage tunnels and in the red points of the risk map to better understand the behavior of the species.
