Resumen
The recent modernization of embedded systems and integrated solutions brought the possibility of applying supervisory systems, controlling and data acquisition. With Internet of Things (IoT), lot of equipment and devices are able to receive and send information, besides taking decisions by itself. This referred project presents a suggestion of using a microcontroller for collecting and send data. This data are sent by RS485 for a computer that will analyze, treat and further giving all kind of information for the users. The access to these information is clear and objective, shown by supervisory through presentations of reports, charts and tables. The project aims to monitoring electrical variables of a generator, such as temperature and the field current of a machine test module with multi measuring equipment and RLC loads for obtaining data with the purpose of preventing failing during operation. The obtained information is didactic, which will be allowed to be use as a complement for subjects related to this topic. As a result, a low-cost data monitoring system was obtained that added great value to the module, thus ensuring more efficient operation and maintenance of the equipment.
