dc.description.abstract | Currently, a healthier lifestyle has been sought, this is also associated with better quality products. In this context, milk and its derivatives are considered good sources of proteins, fats, minerals and fat-soluble vitamins, in addition to being used as functional foods bringing benefits to consumers. These products are consumed almost daily by a large part of the populationand the production of dairy products moves the economy of the country a lot, but it is questioned whether Brazilian companies have already adapted the resolutions it has on the requirements for mandatory labeling of the main foods they cause food allergies. This work aimed to evaluate the adequacy of companies in the dairy sector in relation to RDC nº 26 02/07/2015 and RDC nº 135 02/02/17 compared to the products sold in Medianeira. Labels of 14 packages of 21 brands were evaluated. The data obtained were treated by calculating the percentage of irregularities for each product evaluated. With the research it was observed that companies have already adapted to rdc nº 26 and rdc nº135, but with regard to rdc nº 259, they still need to be more careful with the information. | |
